Rugby League Coaching for Teachers Workshop
Thursday 17th September
@ Wickersley Sports College, Rotherham
4:14 pm - 6:45 pm
Who’s it for?
Designed for those working within the teaching profession who want to introduce the game of rugby league into schools, the RFL Coaching for Teachers scheme is ideal.
In 2007, following a review of the existing Coaching for Teachers programme, the RFL, with some new funding from Sportscoach UK, developed a more readily accessible teaching programme based around smaller, more practical modules.
Each module will be 2 hours long and once they have completed the mandatory introductory workshop, teachers may choose additional modules within their chosen education field (ie primary or secondary) which will develop the relevant skills.
What will I learn?
The introductory module is based around the core skills of rugby league, fun games and how to run and set them up. Modules which are being developed will focus on working with these skills within the teaching environment.
What’s the cost?
Cost per candidate £30.00
How do I book?
