Year 7 Futsal
Congratulations to Hatfield's Year 7 Boys Futsal Team who won the Doncaster Boys U-12 tournament at Balby Carr in February. The team excelled in their group matches with three wins and a draw which was enough to top the group. In the final they managed to overcome a strong McAuley side 1-0 with the winning goal coming from striker Daniel Bennett. The boys managed to hang on to the lead and were indebted to Goalkeeper Ross Green who made two vital saves in the closing stages to ensure victory.
“I felt the team worked together and it wasn’t a one man show. We deserved to win because as a team we worked well and made our school proud by progressing to the next round. Come on Hatfield!!” (Ross Green 7HI)
