Trinity SSCo Kate introduced the Multi Skills activity as a means to deliver a high quality PE module to KS1 pupils which should give 100% intra school competition and 100% inter school competition.
Having talked through the six events and the recording of results, the teachers then discussed the practicalities of delivering the pack to KS1 children. It was agreed that with help from Y5/6 pupils the recording of events would be workable. The teachers were then given the opportunity to trial the activities – which, of course, they all leapt at, Leila achieving a PB for balancing on one leg and Chris narrowly beating John on speed bounce!
All agreed that their schools would use the intra/inter competition.
All schools have a competition pack, which includes a cd of activities.
