Congratulations to all those candidates named above for finding the time, energy and enthusiasm to attend this practical twilight course.
Course tutors, Dale and Gareth, put us through a comprehensive set of activities working from appropriate warm up through abcs (agility, balance, coordination and speed) to specific cricket skills – catching, throwing, bowling, fielding and batting, and finishing with a variety of games. All easy to set up, fun to play and easy to remember.
The course resources will prove invaluable throughout the summer’s planned coaching for Y3/4 pupils, to both teachers and 6th form pupil coaches.
Thanks to course tutors, Dale and Gareth for the excellent tuition; Katie for organising Green Top’s hall for us and Helen for allowing us to use the hall; Liz Appleyard of Extended Services for providing the funding which paid for the course.
This course should benefit 340 Y3/4 pupils this summer.
