21 10 09 TA CSL Coaching in Local Primary Schools

Coaching started at King Edward PS on Wednesday 21st October, 2:15-3:15, with 22 Y12 CSL pupils keen to improve the athletic abilities of 50 Y5/6 pupils – 20 of whom will represent their school in the 18.11.09 Sports Hall Athletics event to be hosted and organised by the same Trinity Academy Y12 pupils.
The coaches aim to coach in all 5 local schools before the competition date. This will reinforce SSCo and class teacher delivery.
At 3:15 the coaches underwent something of a culture shock when they were confronted by 23 Y1/2 pupils who were attending their first after school multi skills club.
‘They’re like little frogs, aren’t they?’
This coaching will reinforce SSCo and Class teacher delivery of the KS1 multi skills programme introduced last year.
CSL pupils are currently coaching in 3/5 primaries – Brooke, Green Top and King Edward PSs.
