30 9 09 Playground Leader Training starts
Four out of five of our local primaries have taken part in playground leader training so far this year:
30 9 09 – Green Top, 30 Y5 pupils, tried out their new leadership skills on unsuspecting friends at playtime! Lunchtime supervisors discussed ways to improve participation in activities.
7 10 09 – Brooke Playground Leaders Rule OK!
21 PGLs worked hard to improve their leadership skills throughout the day, lunchtime supervisors added their thoughts, and during the staff meeting not only did we discuss effective use of playground space but we also made effective use of meeting time by including a Take10 reminder.
16 10 09 – King Edward, 27 Y5s and 4 lunchtime supervisors took part in the training day. Activities and question/answer sessions were lively and well thought through.
All tried hard to use the activities to improve their leadership skills. The Y4 pupils worked extra hard to keep up with their older PGLs and proved themselves worthy of their new status.
