Application’s now OPEN for Doncaster School Sport Partnerships Leadership Academy
Applications are now OPEN for the Doncaster School Sport Partnership’s Leadership Academy, which will launch on Wednesday 29th September 2010 at The Doncaster Dome!
The Partnership Leadership Academy is designed to offer sports leaders the opportunity to work alongside fellow sports leaders to develop their leadership skills, and gain experience of volunteering and leadership placement at both a school and community level. Successful applicants will receive:-
· Opportunity to be part of a team and to work with other sports leaders from across Doncaster.
· Opportunity to gain a community coaching placement, where you can develop your coaching and leadership skills.
· Access to FOUR National Governing Body Young Leader courses - FREE OF CHARGE
· Opportunity to attend further NBG Young Leader awards which will be heavily subsidised
· Access to ONE Level 1 National Governing Body Sports Coaching Award - FREE OF CHARGE
· Access to ONE Level 2 Community Sports Leadership Award – FREE OF CHARGE
The Partnership Leadership Academy is open to all sports leaders who attends an educational establishment in Doncaster and who are over the age of 16 (as of September 2010).
