Doncaster College Launches Coach Education Programme

Spring 2009 sees the launch of Doncaster

College’s Sport and Physical Activity Course

Programme. The college have taken over the

programme from the successful scheme run

in previous years by Active Doncaster,

Doncaster Council.

The PE & Sport Strategy for Young People

has challenged the College to provide young

children with access to five hours of sport

every week. This can only be achieved by

increasing the number of volunteers and

qualified coaches, enabling further sport and

physical activities to be provided.

Doncaster College will continue to support

you, the volunteer, through a programme of

courses. There will be a more extensive

programme of courses offered between

September 2009 and July 2010.
